Bond@50 2nd and 3rd November 2012

October 10, 2012 Leave a Comment

We have received details of an exciting event coming up in the next couple of weeks. Please read the following invitation from Big Brum TIE Company:

Bond@50: Booking open

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Booking is open for the Bond@50 celebration on Friday the 2nd and Saturday 3rd November, and with many exciting events lined up we recommend you book early.

The festival includes performances of two new Edward Bond plays, The Broken Bowl and The Edge, as well as Tune by L’Outil Compagnie from France, film screenings of Blow Up and Walkabout, plus an open rehearsal and talk by the playwright himself and a talk by Shami Chakrabati from Liberty.

Our recommendation is to choose the day that suits you best and book a day ticket to cover the full Friday or Saturday but, if you prefer, you can book individual tickets to any part of the programme.

Tickets are also available for an academic symposium exploring Bond’s work on Friday 2nd November, hosted by the English and Theatre Studies departments at Warwick University.

Visit http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/english/research/currentprojects/bond for information about speakers and tickets.

Day passes are £55/£25 students, and can be bought from www.warwickartscentre.co.uk/events/theatre/bond-50-day-pass.

You can also download the timetable for the weekend and book tickets for individual events. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thank you for your continuing support,

Big Brum Theatre in Education
